Cruise control that can adapt automatically

With Adaptive Cruise Control technology, you choose the speed you want to drive at and the system will maintain it. If the built-in RADAR sensor detects a vehicle ahead, it will slow your vehicle to maintain a pre-set distance. Once the road in front is clear, the system will accelerate to your chosen speed.

Stress-free parking and pulling out

Parking can be a real hassle. But not in your new Fiesta. That’s because Active Park Assist uses a combination of different technologies to do more than steer you into parking spots. With Park Out Assist it helps you pull out of them, too. The Parallel and Perpendicular Parking system can sense if there’s space for your car to fit, then reverse you in. Side Parking Aid also warns you if there are any lateral obstructions.

Technology that sees what you can’t

A Blind Spot Information System uses RADAR sensors to scan the blind spots on either side of your Fiesta. And if they detect a vehicle you can’t see, an orange light that’s clearly displayed in the corresponding side door mirror illuminates to warn you. If you’re reversing out of a space, and have limited visibility of the traffic situation, Cross Traffic Alert can detect oncoming vehicles and sound a warning. The technology also illuminates a light in the wing mirror: left or right depending on the direction of oncoming traffic.

An advanced system to help you stay in your lane

A Lane Keeping System uses a forward-looking camera to detect if you’re unintentionally drifting out of lane. Lane Keeping Alert then warns you by vibrating the steering wheel and displaying a visual warning. If you're slow to react or don’t respond, Lane Keeping Aid can provide steering torque assistance to help guide you safely back into the right lane. The technology is designed for multi-lane roads (like motorways), so will automatically deactivate at speeds below 65 km/h or can be turned off manually. This feature is standard across the Fiesta range.

Driving dynamics tailored to you

Fiesta Active is already a flexible vehicle. But you can personalise your driving experience further by altering the Fiesta's throttle response, steering, and even gear-change behaviour to match your driving style or road conditions. Selectable Drive Modes include 'Normal', 'Eco' and 'Slippery'.

Sees the road signs you might miss

Whether the signs are at the side of the road or above it, permanent or temporary, Traffic Sign Recognition can identify them. An icon of that speed or a no-overtaking sign appears on the instrument cluster and changes every time you enter a new limit.

Helping you see, without dazzling others

A useful night-driving aid, Auto High Beam temporarily dips your headlights when it detects oncoming traffic or a vehicle ahead, stopping you dazzling other drivers. It then automatically reverts back to high beam, giving you maximum visibility.

Power-assisted steering that responds to every situation

Electric power-assisted steering (EPAS) automatically adjusts to your speed and the conditions. At low speeds, the system makes wheel turns feel lighter and easier, improving maneuverability. At high speeds, when you need greater control, it firms up the steering. Now with drift control, EPAS also takes into account crosswinds and other driving conditions, while active nibble control reduces any unwanted vibration in the steering wheel.

Comfort and Convenience

When smart technologies work effortlessly in your home, they should do the same in your car. That’s why All-New Fiesta now offers SYNC 3 to make life easier, B&O PLAY to make journeys more entertaining and an openable panoramic roof to make every drive more enjoyable. Get ready to discover all this and more in a space that gives you all the comfort and convenience you could possibly want.

Seamless technology you can control with your voice

Ford SYNC 3 is a state-of-the-art system that enables you to stay connected and control your phone, music and navigation system with intuitive voice commands, or an 6.5” colour touchscreen. It connects to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto too, and with Applink, you can access some of your favourite smartphone apps, including Spotify. Live Traffic can also help you avoid the jams. And you can even call up a list of local restaurants just by saying “I’m hungry”, or access the Michelin Guide to help you choose and book places to eat.

Your favourite music, as it’s meant to be heard

Whatever your taste in music, it deserves to sound as the artist intended. That’s exactly what you can expect in your new Fiesta. Why? Because it’s available with B&O PLAY. This premium level 675-watt audio system delivers a rich, powerful sound via a 10-speaker, woofer and subwoofer inclusive set-up. This advanced technology has been specifically designed, developed and fine-tuned for the Fiesta by B&O PLAY’s specialist acousticians. So turn it up and enjoy your favourite bands and songs in the concert hall that is your car’s cabin.

A large panoramic roof for a lighter, airier feel

Unlike most small cars its size, this Fiesta comes with the option of a luxurious two-part, glass panoramic roof. This either tilts open, or slides back over the rear roof section to create a light and airy interior. Whilst the roof allows natural light to flood in, solar reflective glass keeps you cool and protects you from UV rays. An electrically operated roof blind also enables you to cover or reveal the roof at the press of a button.

Room to stretch your legs

By clever use of space, Fiesta gives you more front and rear legroom than ever before. And because the rear seats have sculpted, slim backs, your passengers can sit further back.

Performance and Efficiency

Why should you have to choose between exhilarating performance and money-saving efficiency? In an All-New Fiesta you can have it all. A 1.0 litre Ford EcoBoost petrol engine puts a five times winner of International Engine of the Year at your command. Auto Start-Stop helps you save fuel, every time you stop at the lights. And sophisticated driving dynamics and precision handling deliver a rewarding, no compromise driving experience.

More power. More efficiency. More enjoyment

The revolutionary 1.0 litre 3-cylinder Ford EcoBoost petrol engine gives you all the power you’d expect from a conventional 1.6 engine, but achieves better fuel economy and CO2 emissions as low as 97g/km. Win, win. You can also choose a 1.1 litre TiVCT engine that gives you up to 85 PS to play with whilst keeping emissions down to just 101g/km.

Diesel power

Prefer diesel? Then go for the 1.5 litre TDCi engine that delivers a rewarding 85 PS and achieves a money-saving economy of 3.2L/100km with CO2 emissions as low as 82 g/km for the 3-door and 3.3L/100km with CO2 emissions of just 84 g/km for the 5-door. If you want even more power plus efficiency, a 120 PS engine gives you 3.5L/100km and CO2 emissions of 89 g/km.

Use less fuel with Auto Start-Stop

When you stop at traffic lights or your Fiesta is idling in a queue, this technology can automatically switch off the engine while still supplying power to essentials like the headlights, air-conditioning and the Ford SYNC 3 system. When you're ready to move just depress the clutch, or press the accelerator on an automatic, and the system restarts. Auto Start-Stop is particularly effective in towns and cities, where it can cut fuel consumption by up to 10% (urban cycle).

Efficiency at the press of a button

An ingenious feature of the new Ford Fiesta is its Eco Button. Press to turn it on and a series of systems and settings adjust to help you save fuel. For example, the rate of acceleration can be reduced, the idle speed can be lowered and the fan speed of the climate control can be lowered. Combined, all these little things can make a big difference.

Safety and Security

All-New Ford Fiesta offers a range of advanced technologies designed to protect you, your passengers, and your vehicle, in the event of an accident. Key features include Pre-Collision Assist, Hazard and Emergency Brake Warning and Trailer Sway Control. There are many other systems, too, some of which exist to help prevent accidents in the first place.

A system that can help protect pedestrians

Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection detects vehicles and pedestrians up to 130 metres ahead, or who could cross the vehicle’s path, and warns you of their presence. If you don’t respond, the system automatically applies the brakes. This new technology is designed to help reduce the severity of accidents, or help avoid them altogether. And not only does it function at speeds of up to 30 km/h, it also works at night.

Airbags to shield you from all angles

In addition to the driver and passenger front airbags, side airbags provide thorax protection and are designed to direct the occupant away from the impact area. They’re also able to raise the arm of the occupant providing better space between them and the intruding structure. Curtain airbags provide maximum coverage and headrests offer protection from whiplash. With front and rear seatbelt pre-tensioners and load limiters, plus seatbelt minders, Fiesta helps puts your safety first.

Advanced systems for more controlled braking

Anti-lock braking system (ABS) and electronic brake-force distribution ensure that your braking is more controlled. Emergency Brake Assist also helps your car brake more effectively in an emergency situation. It does this by sensing how much pressure you’ve applied to the brake yourself and automatically increasing it, if necessary.
