MUSTANG MACH-E CHARGING

Everything you need to know about charging your Mustang Mach-E.

MUSTANG MACH-E CHARGING

You’ve a range of charging options. For home charging, you can simply plug the Mustang Mach-E into your regular mains supply. Alternatively, an optional Ford Connected Wallbox delivers faster home charging, for a full battery overnight. Use the FordPass smartphone app to manage home charging schedules, so your electric car is ready to go when you are.

CHARGING SOCKETS & CABLES

Mustang Mach-E comes with a cable for use at AC public charging stations, as not all have their own built-in cables. For high-power DC public charging stations, special built-in charging cables are always provided, so you don’t need to bring one for these. If you wish to charge at home using a domestic 3-pin socket, a Universal Charge Cable with the appropriate adaptor is available as an accessory.

CHARGING AT HOME

Charging your Mustang Mach-E at home is as straightforward as charging your smartphone. Simply plug into a conventional wall socket using the Ford Universal Charge Cable. (Sold separately as an accessory)

Alternatively, an optional Ford Connected Wallbox home charging point offers greater convenience with faster charging times than a domestic socket. It has also been designed to work with the FordPass app, so you can manage your charging schedule remotely.

HOME CHARGING POINT

The Ford Connected Wallbox is an optional home charging point and your fastest home charging option. It can recharge over 30 kilometers of range every hour, and will complete a full charge overnight.

HOME SOCKET CHARGING

The optional Ford Universal Charge Cable can be plugged into a normal home socket. Charging is about 13 kilometers of range per hour and useful for when you’re away visiting friends without any charging facility.

As with the Ford Connected Wallbox, we recommend you consult a qualified electrician to check any sockets you intend to use to charge your car.
