DRIVE MODES
Your Mustang Mach-E lets you tailor your driving experience to your preferred style. Three different Drive Modes, Active, Whisper, and Untamed, alter engine sounds, ambient lighting, and even the responsiveness of your electric SUV to perfectly match your mood. Exclusive to the Mustang Mach-E GT, Untamed Plus boosts the Mustang Mach-E 's Untamed Drive mode. Designed for the track, it pushes the excitement further to deliver a longer-lasting thrill.
ONE PEDAL DRIVE
Mustang Mach-E features an advanced One Pedal Drive system. Take your foot off the power, and the car automatically and smoothly slows itself down. Energy usually lost through deceleration is also recaptured and used to extend your battery range. The system means you can drive using the One Pedal most of the time. You should only need to use the brake pedal if you need to brake more suddenly.
MAGNERIDE® ACTIVE SUSPENSION
Adjusting 1,000 times per second , MagneRide® active suspension helps keep the Mustang Mach-E GT firmly pinned to the tarmac. MagneRide® dampers are filled with a smart magnetic fluid, allowing them to rapidly adapt to changing surface conditions. The result is a smooth, confidence-inspiring drive.
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
Make light work of heavy traffic. Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go lets you automatically maintain your pre-set distance from the vehicle in front of you. It can even bring your Mustang Mach-E to a complete stop in heavy traffic and then automatically accelerate back up to your chosen speed.
PRE-COLLISION ASSIST
Pre-Collision Assist uses a camera to scan the road ahead and warn you if it detects a potential collision with a vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist. If you don’t respond to the warning in time, the system can automatically apply up to full braking force to help reduce the severity of, or even eliminate, some frontal collisions.
BLIND SPOT INFORMATION SYSTEM AND CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT
Giving you an extra pair of eyes. Cross Traffic Alert helps when reversing out of spaces, by alerting you if it detects vehicles approaching from either side.
Similarly, the Blind Spot Information System checks for vehicles hidden in your blind spots while driving. The system alerts you via warning lights in both door mirrors if a hazard is detected.
EVASIVE STEERING
Your Mustang Mach-E includes Evasive Steering Assist as part of the wider Pre-Collision Assist system. The technology is designed to detect when you swerve to avoid an obstacle, then provide additional steering support to help you steer around the object in your path.
AUTO HIGH BEAM
Your Mustang Mach-E can automatically dim the headlight beams if it senses you’re approaching oncoming traffic. The Auto High Beam can then automatically increase to full beam once the road ahead clears.
FIVE-STAR EURO NCAP
As proof of its ability to help protect you, your passengers, and other road users, Ford Mustang Mach-E earned a top score of five stars from the EURO NCAP safety rating. Euro NCAP is Europe’s leading independent safety organisation, which evaluates the safety of any new vehicle using a series of stringent measures. The Mustang Mach-E also recorded full marks in clean air and greenhouse gas tests during assessments by Green NCAP.
SYNC 4A
Ford SYNC 4A is a cloud-connected in-car communication and entertainment system. Cloud connectivity enables advanced route planning and conversational voice recognition. With wireless smartphone integration, electric vehicle charging management, an intuitive 15.5” touchscreen, plus a whole lot more, you’ll experience a new world of connectivity through your car.
FORD POWER-UP UPDATES
Your Mustang Mach-E is designed to evolve over time. Secure Ford Power-Up updates offer enhancements: from updating the SYNC 4A software, to upgrades that improve your vehicle’s quality, capability and convenience. Most of these updates install automatically, enabled by innovative, cloud-connected technology. Larger updates can be installed over Wi-Fi at a time and a place that suits you.
FORDPASS APP
Connect your Mustang Mach-E to the FordPass app on your smartphone, to unlock even more of its smart side. You can use your phone to locate your car, remotely lock or unlock it, monitor tyre pressure and get vehicle health alerts. You can plan journeys with your phone, then share destinations with your vehicle and have charging automatically plotted along the route, if you’ll need it. Specifically for the Mustang Mach-E, the ‘Intelligent Range’ feature displays charge levels, remaining driving distance, and convenient public charging locations en route.
DRIVER PROFILE AND PERSONALISATION
When you pair your smartphone with FordPass, your Mustang Mach-E adjust various settings to your pre-selected preferences. This includes adjusting the seats and mirrors, tuning in to your favourite radio station, and even setting the ambient lighting and instrument panel to the way you like it. You can also create your own unique avatar for a more personal touch.
TRIP PLANNER
The Electric Vehicle (EV) Trip Planner gives you total confidence on the road. Set your destination, and the system will tailor a route based on your battery level and available public charging stations. You can plan your route in advance too. Simply set your destination and find charging points with the FordPass app, then send the route straight to the SYNC 4A system in your vehicle.
REMOTE VEHICLE CONTROL
Remote control features in FordPass let you lock and unlock your Mustang Mach-E, and monitor the charge status from virtually anywhere. You can also set a start schedule, so that your vehicle settings are exactly how you like them before you even get behind the wheel.
WIRELESS DEVICE CHARGING
Stay connected in your Mustang Mach-E. With wireless phone charging available as standard, you can conveniently charge your compatible smartphone without the hassle of a charging cable. Simply place your device onto the vehicle’s charging pad. This keeps the stylish interior clean and uncluttered, while ensuring your devices are kept charged and ready to roll.
AN ELECTRIC CAR WITH AWD
Advanced electric dual-motor All-Wheel Drive (AWD) raises the game. An electric motor on the front and rear axle enhances performance and helps you tackle more challenging driving conditions.
BATTERY RANGE
The Mustang Mach-E is available with two battery options. For rear-wheel drive, you can choose between the standard or extended range battery pack. The RWD Standard Range (70kWh) battery is capable of up to 325-440 kilometers while the RWD Extended Range offers up to 450-610 (WLTP test results) kilometer range.
ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
If you happen to run out of charge while on the road, All electric Roadside Assistance will provide a quick charge on site including recovery of the vehicle to a safe point. If quick charge is not possible, your vehicle will be towed to the next charging point either to a charger within the Ford BlueOval™ Charge Network, a Ford Dealer, your home, or a public charging point. This service is unlimited.
E-LATCH SYSTEM
We’ve removed the door handles on Mustang Mach-E to create an elegant, streamlined design. Now, when you approach your vehicle, the system will recognise your key fob and illuminate a button on the door pillar. Simply touch the button to open the door.
B&O SOUND SYSTEM
Prepare to be moved by the powerful, sonic experience of the optional 10-speaker B&O Sound System. Taking inspiration from Bang & Olufsen home speakers, the integration of a beautiful soundbar into the dashboard has already won a prestigious interior design award. A highly efficient subwoofer also delivers heart-pounding bass with reduced weight and saved space.
PANORAMA ROOF
The optional panorama fixed glass roof floods the interior with natural light and improves the feeling of spaciousness. A special coating helps the interior stay cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
FRONT TRUNK
The Mustang Mach-E gives you a little more up front. A conveniently placed front trunk provides up to 81-Litres of additional storage space. Ideal for storing your spare domestic power charging cable for those spontaneous weekends away.
HANDS-FREE TAILGATE
Hands–free tailgate makes access to your Mustang Mach-E boot space easy, even when your hands are full. When the system detects your key is in range, simply use a gentle foot movement under the centre of the rear bumper, and the hands-free tailgate will operate without you having to touch a thing. It can also be opened and closed while sitting inside the car.
